Presenting GreenTracker, our new community service theme. The goal of
this initiative is, generally, to institute and promote sustainable
practices and reduce TechTracker’s overall energy imprint. It may
seem like a lofty goal, but through division into simple components,
we can more readily organize the singular sustainbility practices
already taking place amongst TechTracker employees into a collective
effort. Individually unnoticed, these efforts can work to increase
awareness inside and outside the company when unified.

We’re already using a compost bin and have planned a trip (with EFNW)
to remove invasive plants and help foster local native species
growth. Going forward, we’re putting together a blog to act as a
sounding board that touts our current accomplishemnts and hopefully
spurs new ideas for easy-to-implement improvements to the ways we get
to and from work, recycle in the office, use our elecricity and more.
